The final winter of high school brings uncertainty for Kazuhara as he confronts exams and graduation. Advised to live independently, his search for a room proves difficult. His childhood friend Takanashi Shiori offers to let him stay with her. Despite initial reservations about living alone, he obtains parental permission and begins a month of cohabitation. Kazuhara assumes their long familiarity will prevent anything from occurring. However, daily life together gradually shifts his perception of Shiori toward that of a woman.
