Busou Shoujotai: Blade Briders

In the late 21st century, humanity faced sudden and overwhelming assault from aliens arriving through wormholes. As defeat seemed certain, an ultimate weapon was uncovered in a vast subterranean cavern beneath Japan. This device could materialize objects from pure imagination, and its young master, Ryuusei, was discovered in cryogenic sleep. Awakened by the alien onslaught, he guided humanity to a decisive victory. A year later, with reconstruction ongoing in devastated zones, Ryuusei was named commander of the newly established Defence Force of Earth, tasked with opposing space invaders. A critical vulnerability remained: only he could operate the imagination embodiment device. To mitigate the risk of his loss, the force recruited girls possessing latent potential to fight beside him. Each recruit had personal motivations for joining despite initial reluctance. This special unit, designated 'Blade Briders,' was formed to defend Earth against the returning alien threat.
