For over six months, the nations of Leben and Carnea fought to a stalemate. Both lands had long known peace under honorable kings. Leben's sudden invasion began the conflict. After the King of Carnea died from illness, the advantage shifted to Leben. A man in black arrived in Carnea. He was Claude, former vice-leader of the Carnea Knights, who had vanished eight years prior. His altered appearance aroused suspicion. Claude claimed to have a strategy to defeat Leben. His plan involved hiring veteran mercenaries, funded by the queen and princesses selling their bodies. The queen and her daughter agreed to the scheme. They then commenced training under his direction.
