Following the death of her fiance Youji in a climbing accident, Mai is resolved to conceive his child. To pursue this goal, she seeks assistance from his colleagues in the field of genetic research. The required procedure, however, demands substantial funding she does not possess. To raise the necessary capital, Mai applies for a position as a 'DNA Hunter.' This occupation involves procuring semen specimens for female clients seeking children from specific men, using any means required. As a condition of entry into this organization, Mai must first complete a qualifying test. The assignment is to acquire a sample from a randomly selected stranger. The situation presents a personal and ethical challenge for Mai, as she must determine whether she can proceed with such intimate acts with other men to finance her ultimate objective.
