Heartful Maman The Animation

After losing his mother in middle school, Kinosaki Mao has lived with his father, Hajime. Upon Mao's entry into college, his father departed without warning, leaving only a reassuring note. Four years later, as Mao approaches graduation, the unresolved grief from his mother's death has resulted in a condition of gynophobia. His father unexpectedly returns, now remarried to Arima Shiori, a woman of flawless appearance and demeanor who embodies an ideal maternal figure. Mao is disoriented by this sudden presence of a mother in his life. Shiori extends to him a genuine and instinctive maternal affection. Through their ongoing proximity, Mao's feelings for her evolve into a sexual attraction.
