Kisaku Spirit

The adult animation series, comprised of three distinct titles named for the three sadistic brothers they depict, is often cited for its historical impact on the genre. These works are noted for their explicit content, which includes scenes of violence, perversion, and various unconventional sexual fetishes. The franchise includes Isaku, Shisaku, and Kisaku. This entry, Kisaku Spirit, consists of three episodes released between May 28, 2004, and July 22, 2005. Following the death of Kisaku, his lingering spirit continues to wander due to a powerful unresolved desire. A woman named Yuri observes a man who bears a strong resemblance to the deceased Kisaku. This individual is actually named Kusaki, a diligent worker with a kind disposition who is fundamentally unlike the cruel Kisaku. Shortly after their initial meeting, the spirit of Kisaku manifests and begins to haunt Kusaki. The narrative follows this haunting, which escalates until Kisaku's spirit ultimately gains full control over Kusaki's body. The broader series chronology, excluding game adaptations and recap episodes, is as follows: Isaku (3 episodes and a special recap, 1997-1998), Shusaku (3 episodes, 1999), Shusaku Replay (4 episodes, 2000-2001), Isaku Respect (3 episodes, 2001), Kisaku (6 episodes, 2002-2003), Shusaku Liberty (2 episodes, 2003), Kisaku ULTIMATE (1 special recap episode, 2004), Kisaku Spirit (3 episodes, 2004-2005), Shusaku Se-X File (1 special recap episode, 2004), Kisaku Core Mix (2 episodes, 2014), Shusaku Core Mix (2 episodes, 2014), and Isaku Core Mix (2 episodes, 2014-2015). The material is based on the original games by ELF.
