Nozoki Ana

Tatsuhiko Kido, an art student, relocates to Tokyo for school and moves into a new apartment. He discovers a small hole in his wall. Initially seeing nothing, he eventually observes a neighbor, a girl named Emiru Ikuno, engaged in solitary intimacy. Kido visits her apartment to inform her of the peephole. Their meeting is awkward; after a brief exchange, she retreats to her room with Kido following. He accidentally trips, falling on top of her. Ikuno seizes the moment to photograph him in this compromising position. She proposes a deal: she will delete the photo if Kido agrees to a mutual arrangement of watching and being watched. This pact initiates a sustained dynamic of reciprocal observation. The narrative traces Kido's daily life and various relationships as he navigates this ongoing situation, both as the subject of Ikuno's gaze and as someone encouraged to observe her.
