Cartagra - Season 1

Based on the game by Innocent Grey. Japan's post-war era provides the setting for the Ueno serial mutilation murder case, a crime with no equal in the nation's history. The investigation is led by Arishima Kazuma, whose former subordinate, Takashiro Shuugo, is dispatched to Zushi to assist. Shuugo's assignment concerns a missing young woman from a respectable family. His inquiry takes him to the Kouzuki residence, the focal point of the disappearance. There he meets Kouzuki Kazuna, a young lady whose appearance is identical to that of Kouzuki Yura, a woman with whom Shuugo once had a secret relationship. Kazuna pleads with him to locate her missing older twin sister. However, Kouzuki Keiichirou, who is Yura's father, offers a stark contradiction to this request. He informs Shuugo that the child in question is unequivocally deceased. This conflict between alleged facts and stated truths initiates a complex tragedy, staged in the town of Ueno.
