Imprisoned by Lucefon for more than two decades following the rebel army's defeat, Takeru receives a visit from his former comrade Marlena. She transports him back twenty years in time with a mission: to persuade her younger self to form a full alliance against Lucifon. Adopting the identity of Etoh, the older Takeru assumes leadership of the rebellion. He now fights the same battles he experienced in his youth, striving to alter their ultimate result.
