Kangoku Senkan - Season 1

Murakami Teruaki directs this entry for PIXY's PIXY SPECIAL line. The work adapts Lilith's game sharing the same title. Humanity has entered an age of space colonization, extending its reach throughout the solar system. The population born in space is growing, poised to eventually outnumber those originating from Earth. In response, the Space Federation Government was formed, granting sovereignty to colonized planets and shifting doctrines that had long favored Earth. Donny Bogan serves as a lieutenant in the Space Federation Force and commands the VIP transport battleship Jacinthe. In secret, he and his crew are operatives for a special military unit tied to the political faction "Neo Terrors," which represents the "neanderthals" of Earth. Their mission involves the assassination or kidnapping of key figures from the opposing political clique "New Soral," the core of "humanity of space." Their next objectives are two rising talents within New Soral: Commander Lieri Bishop and her aide, Major Naomi Evans. These women are traveling to Earth for a Federal Government session, where they plan to present evidence of illegal activities by a leading Neo Terrors statesman and seek his indictment. The crew of the Jacinthe intends to intercept them, using the ship's specialized equipment to brainwash the officers during transit and reshape them into compliant personalities. Their plan is to rendezvous at Titan, take the women aboard, and proceed to Earth. The protagonist shares a significant history with the targets. Harboring memories of profound humiliation, he underwent surgical alteration of his appearance and advanced his career specifically to orchestrate a future revenge. As the mission commences, he contemplates the particular forms of transformation he has long planned for Lieri Bishop and Naomi Evans. The battleship Jacinthe alters its course toward Titan, moving silently through the expanse of space.
