Shusaku: Liberty - Season 1

This adult animation series, often described as a landmark in the genre, is noted for its depictions of violence, sexual deviance, and explicit content, incorporating various fetishes. The broader franchise comprises three distinct titles, each centered on one of three sadistic brothers: Isaku, Shusaku, and Kisaku. The release sequence includes multiple series and recap specials. The Isaku series began with three episodes and a special recap released between November 1997 and May 1998. This was followed by the initial Shusaku series of three episodes from April to November 1999. A subsequent series, Shusaku Replay, consisted of four episodes released from July 2000 to January 2001. Isaku Respect followed with three episodes from February to September 2001. The Kisaku series then ran for six episodes from January 2002 to April 2003. The entry titled Shusaku Liberty, which is the focus here, consists of two episodes released in January and April of 2003. Later releases include Kisaku ULTIMATE, a single special recap episode in May 2004, and Kisaku Spirit, a three-episode series from May 2004 to July 2005. A special recap titled Shusaku Se-X File was released in September 2004. More recently, core mix versions were produced: Kisaku Core Mix with two episodes in March and April 2014, Shusaku Core Mix with two episodes in September 2014, and Isaku Core Mix with two episodes from November 2014 to January 2015. Games and recap episodes are not part of this specific catalogue. This installment continues the narrative of the original lecherous character, Shusaku. His role within an all-girls' school provides a setting involving numerous female characters, heightened levels of sexual perversion, and a greater emphasis on lesbian activity compared to other series in the franchise.
