Nanami and Sakura are close friends. Nanami is the older, strong-willed one, while Sakura is quiet and petite with an unusually large bust. They attend school together and have family ties. On weekends, Nanami often accompanies Sakura's father, Shouhei, on drives, where he treats her as a second daughter. This leads Nanami to hope he might marry her mother, Kanako, reflecting her deep trust in him. This trust is shattered one day. Nanami encounters Shouhei not as the familiar, kindly uncle, but as a figure stripped of reason, searching through Sakura's personal belongings. She confronts him, expressing her disgust at his actions.
