Akito Natsuki returns to his hometown for a month-long summer holiday after his workplace temporarily closes. With limited funds and no plans, he anticipates a quiet break. Awaiting him at home are his sister-in-law Miyuri, for whom he once harbored affection, and Sayoko, who has long treated him as a son. Akito attempts to maintain his usual role and conceal his emotions, but an inadvertent remark leads to his true feelings being uncovered. This revelation restarts the previously stagnant dynamics with both Miyuri and Sayoko, drawing him into increasingly deep and personal involvement with each of them.
